- New: When you switch to another program, YoWindow is not going to sleep.
It does not loose colors.
It freezes now.
The weather and time are still updated.
And the picture is changing over time.

But the picture is still.
To make sure YoWindow consumes as little computer power (CPU) as possible.

So you can open YoWindow beside another application you are working in, like browser or Word.
You can work near virtual window.

By the way, here's the story about "YoWindow" name.
We wanted to name the program "Window".
Because it is so cool to create a program "Window" for "Windows".
There is no such program yet.
But domain name window.com was taken of course, and it would be hard to find "window" on the Internet.
So we have modified the name to YoWindow.

I wanted this feature for a long time.
This is one of many new opportunities we can implement in YoWindow 3.

And this is the first step toward desktop widget and desktop background.

Do you like it?

Pasha,

It works perfectly here and is an awesome feature. That was always a little disconcerting to me when it was grayed-out. Now it's always alive!

I will check back in a few minutes for your next update.

Hi Pasha,

you will find this as a new landscape here: http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4800
In this case it was very important to use your new feature to fix the horizont level below the laptop
