[Suggestion] b21 / viewing direction

Hi Pavel!

one suggestion for a minor task: choosing viewing direction.

I find it not much intuitive to be forced to enter a number for my viewing-direction. I have to be aware that it goes clockwise from 0° to 180° to 359°.
Would you consider providing, let's say, at least a combobox for letting the user-select "N (0°)", "NNE (27,5°)", "NE (45°)", "ENE (72,5°)", ...., "S (180°)", ..., "NNW (°)"? Or some arrow to rotate if clicked-and-moved?

If you have time (sometime in the future).

Hey, Reinhart!

Yeah, certainly a problem.
Good idea with the combo-box, makes sense.
We will think how to make this feature more intuitive.

Thanks!

Hi Pasha and Reinhart,

Reinhart, I really like your idea of moving an arrow around.

Before GPS, we used a compass and a map. Why not have a compass and let the user move the arrow around to the viewing direction that they want? Like Reinhart has already posted, this is all in the future.

Great idea Reinhart. :good:

Great idea.
I also love the idea of a compass.
