ATTENTION!!! YoWindow for Windows and Mac will not work in 2021

The desktop version of YoWindow was made with Flash technology by Adobe back in 2009. Unfortunately, since 1 Jan 2021 Flash is no longer supposed to work.

YoWindow for Windows and Mac is not able to function without Flash. If you uninstall Flash from your computer, YoWindow will not be able to work.

We are sorry. Unfortunately, the situation is beyond our control.

Anyway, right now we are working on new YoWindow version that will not depend on Flash. We hope to release the new version by the end of 2021. If you own YoWindow license key it will unlock the new version. For the time being you are welcome to run YoWindow on iOS and Android.



Here's a workaround

Google for the old version of "ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" v29.0.0.96
Install it.
Flash should be working fine with no problems.

Hi everyone, I just joined the forum to let you know that I found a way to make the flash player work.
Just download an old version of portable chrome eg. I tried v49.0.2623.112 which uses an older version
of flash player.
Being portable it does not dirty the system and to avoid security problems it can also be used only for YoWindows Meteo, or for old games or videos in flahplayer.
I hope it will be useful to someone.

We are so sad to hear of this Flash issue .. we LOVE YoWindow! (kids love playing with the "flying" animals" hehehe).

You say that we can continue to use the new version once created.. I tried to see if I could find my serial number, but it seems that I cannot, the only thing that the current PC app shows is this: YoWindow 4 Build 108 Unlimited Edition. How can we use the current subscription moving forward?

Man this sucks. Guess I'll have to find another weather app with some graphics to it for the coming year. I rarely use my phone and it doesn't give me the same capabilities as I have with my computer (smaller screen and all).

I did not remove Adobe and my screen saver no longer works. Tis is so sad, I have used it daily since it came out. I hope it is fixed sooner than the end of 2021. Steve

Pretty sad that we knew this was coming for 3 years already and now we still have to wait for another 6 months or longer for a working solution! Terrible support!
