In the menu to the right in Youwindow, could you maybe put the Beaufort scale next to the Wind: measurement?
Like the attachment. I know it would be quite some programming. But it would be very much liked.

I don't support this suggestion, because it will enlarge this window more and more and the information will be overcrowded with details.

I agree with Werner. The addition of this would overcrowd the inspector panel. Is it really needed?

With knowing that 62.5 miles is 100 kilometers, just by looking at the wind speed I know how strong that wind is. If I want to ride my bicycle and the wind is 20 mph, I need to ride into that wind so I can get a free ride back to my house. 20 mph is a WIND but it is one that you can ride in. If the wind is 30 mph, forget it. You will do something other than bicycle riding. If the wind is 60 mph, you are staying at home because you don't even want to drive in that.

Since the numeric wind speed is more finite, why do you need a word or words to tell you that it is strong, weak, or moderate?

Hi Pasha,

Franco, Snicker, and Leif would enjoy seeing the Beaufort Scale Description next to the wind speed. Werner and I both feel it would overcrowd the inspector panel.

Right now, if you hover over the wind direction arrow, a tool-tip is displayed with the wind direction (i.e. South-South-West). On a line below the wind direction, could the Beaufort Scale decription be displayed in the tool-tip? For Beaufort Scale 6, 'Strong Breeze' would be displayed in the tool-tip. This way, we do not overcrowd the inspector panel but those users who would like to see the Beaufort description would be able to.

Just another use of putting more weather related information into a tool-tip.

I think it is a reasonable compromise to put Beaufort wind speed in the tooltip.
Will be available on the next YoWindow widget/Chrome release.

Agree that the placement of the info could be somewhere else than what I showed on my screenshot. But Tool tip is a good idea. And maybe it can have its own line in the Options -> General -> Inspector settings. Anyway. Just getting the Beafort scale somehow into Yowindow would be great!
