Well!, I was a bit too quick.
It's working on one computer which is a Vista 64-bit but not on my other computer which is W7 32-bit.
It's not working on my Samsung Galaxy TAb 10.1v but is working on my Xoom tablet.
After loading it says: Not available in the small widget.
Full screen, I have no weather information in the topright corner, only the name.
When clicking the days for the forecast everything is fine.

Something to do with my PWS? and why does it work on one computer but not on the other?

Hello!

I have moved this topic from the News section, because it is not news anymore.
Our discussion has nothing to do with the news.
Let's discuss the widget is Widget subforum.

To the topic.
1. YoWidget 3 on Android
Yesterday I have spent 4 hours tyring to make new YoWidget to work inside the browser on my Android (HTC Incredible S).
It turned out to be impossible.
I have the same problem - the widget is not able to load the landscape and hangs somewhere in the middle of preloading process with progress bar displayed.

After the investigation it became clear that Flash on my Android behaves weird.
Our Flash files can only be loaded if the screen-size of the widget is significant, more than 300x200 pixels.

I don't know how to solve this.
At least now.
So in order to continue YoWindow development I have decided to abandon this problem.
I will get back to it as soon as we are done with our priority goals.
For the moment we do not support YoWindow widget on Android anymore.
Don't expect it to run properly in Android browsers including Galaxy Tab.

Can you please send me a screen capture with "Not available" words?
I don't understand where they come from.

Regarding your W7 32-bit computer.
Is YoWidget still not working there?
If so, please clean up the browser cache and reload the page.
Let me know if it helps.
Which browser are you using on this PC?

Hi Pasha,

I checked the widget in 4 browsers: Firefox 8, Opera 11, Google Chrome and IE 9 (64 bit). In all browsers the widget is OK :Yahoo!:
My system is Win 7 Home Premium/64 bit.

It is working now on my galaxyTab 10.1v, cleared the cache so that was probably the problem.
Finally cleared the cache on my W7 32-bit laptop running IE9.
Widget is working now too.

I never deleted cache on my Vista computer, the widget worked instantly.

I probably have to start a new thread about this but I wonder, is it possible to have decimal values for temperature and rain amount.
I can remember this has been discussed in the forum some time ago.
Is it too difficult to implement this in the widget, since values are already in the xml file.

The widget started to work because I have fixed several problems inside it.
Yesterday I have found that the widget is not running properly under Flash Player 10.0

All the people who have complained about YoWidget bad behavior have let me know that it is working properly now.
I'm happy :)

Thank you for the good news!
Yes, please, start a new topic for a new theme.

Decimal precision control is definetly hard to do, because we would have to make the settings complicated for regular users.
This feature has been requestsed a long time ago.
I have an idea how to solve it, but it would take time.

Hi Pasha,

YoWidget 3 is now working on my Linux netbook. I also had the chance to see YoWidget 3 on my nephew's small android that runs on Gingerbread.

Whatever changes that you made, I am now able to test on my Linux. :good:

Thank you,

Marty
