Forcast

Sometimes it would be very handy to split the forcast section into morning, lunchtime, afternoon and evening, instead of using the time bar to see how the weather will develop over the day.

Have you seen YoWindow 3 time-bar?
We have added temperature icons to it.
So one look is enough to get the idea of how the weather is going to change over the day.
Will this solve the problem?

This bar is very good but it only displays one day. To have the option to see the following days in one screen at the same time would be very nice.

Yeah, but for how many days you would like to see morning/lunchtime/evening/night?
The more screen-space is taken - the less landscape you see.

Hi Pasha,

I do not like the suggestion of taking up valuable landscape space for additional breakdown of daily forecasts. But if this is an important piece of information for some people, could you do something like the following?

Currently, when you hover over a forecast day, you drop down a balloon with the month and day. Currently on the widget, when you click on a forecast day, you show the complete forecast for that day in the time bar. Since you already have a time bar setup for the forecast day, would it be possible to display it in a balloon under the month and day balloon when you hover over the forecast day?

In the USA, there is a slogan 'Keep America Beautiful' meaning do not litter. 'Keep YoWindow Beautiful' by not littering it with permanently displaying all information for a forecast day. But temporarily displaying it when a day is hovered on would 'Keep YoWindow Beautiful".

Just a suggestion.

Nice idea, Marty, I like it.
I think it makes sence to add more weather releated information into tool-tips.

Hi Pasha,

I like the idea of Marty too. I agree, that the screen should not be overloaded with too many things.

The reason I was suggesting it was the need - as beeing a tennis coach - to plan activities outside.
Having a more detailed view 1-2 days ahead at a glance would be very convenient.
But I understand that it would not be important for most users and I was thinking to have it as an option to switch on or off.....
