Hi Pasha,

I was just checking out Mount Washington, New Hampshire USA. This was the location that solved the Growing Tree. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday may help us with the Growing Cloud of Smoke.

It will not be hurricane force winds like in the Winter, but it is going to be high winds. Click on the forecast tile for Saturday and wait for the Cloud to GROW and fly across the screen due to the high wind. If you want to see it again, click on another tile and wait for the cloud and then click on Saturday again and wait for the cloud to fly across the screen. Hopefully, you get to see the Growing Cloud of Smoke.

On my WinXP, the cloud grows first time and every time. On my Win7, I have to click and watch several times before the cloud really gets large and starts to fly across the screen. By about the 4th time the cloud is getting massive.

There is a problem with the Wind Speed Forecast from NWS. We fixed this a long time ago on the Desktop. Saturday's Forecast shows 24-0 mph and Sunday's shows 13-0 mph. Mansfield, Ohio is also showing 2-0 mph on Saturday and 7-0 mph on sunday.

Hey, Marty!
I think I have fixed both errors.
Also I have found out that YoWindow was not displaying wind speed range properly, instead of 15 - 20 m/s it was displaying 15.
Now must be working ok.

I was not able to make smoke cloud to fly across all the screen, but it was cleary flying for about a quater of landscape unexpectedly.
Fixed.

PS Mount Washington is a very good testing place.

Hi Pasha,

I just finished checking the new build on my WinXp and my Win7. The prior build that corrected the lightning issue was 0.32 and this new build is 0.32 .

The wind speed range has been fixed.

I am still able to watch the Growing Cloud of Smoke.

Another good location to watch is Amundsen-Scott South Pole, Antarctica. Click on the forecast tiles and you will see a black smoke cloud.

Hi Friends,

I was just wondering:
I can see the smole cloud grow, sometimes less, sometimes more.
But it always shrinks again after a short period.
It sort of collapses in parts.

Is this the way you see it too?

Fred asked a good question. So I decided to take some video of what the smoke cloud looks like on my PCs. I have one more that I will try alone as it is a little bit longer.

Hi Friends,

Here is one from my WinXP. The smoke cloud keeps getting bigger and finally goes off the screen. I hope this came thru as it is really interesting. It also shows you the difference between how Win7 and WinXP are handling this bug.

The video has helped me to figure the problem out.
Take a look at the new build of Chrome edition.
I hope Bad Smoke Cloud is gone away.

A little remark about extension version numbers.
Don't pay attention to them.
Sometimes I increase the version, but sometimes I forget about it.
So it may happen that a new build will be with the same version number.
It is ok.
