Pavel,
The tray popup was working well a couple of versions ago but now, as of RC490, the units don't match. I have the U.S. unit system selected in the options.
Windows version: Vista 64 bit.

I also have the same problem with units. RC 489 was working. I also wanted to let you know about the version numbers.

The top of the screen shows RC 490. The download page shows RC 489. It downloads as RC 490.

There was one little mistake that made all the things went wrong.

Marty, sometimes I am closing my notebook before the page update process is over.
Because of this the page may not reflect the build number, that is already uploaded.

Don, what is the widget that looks like thermometer installed on your desktop?

If anyone still experience any problem with Inspector and popup synchronization, please send me your options.xml

RC 491 is working good on both Windows XP and on my Windows 7.

It looks like a CPU-Monitor of his Intel Core2Duo-PC.
At that moment it runned with 17% usage,
the bars seems to show the RAM-usage (52% of 6 or 8 GB) and the processor-load of the 2 cores (19% and 14%).

The widget seems to be from Intel because of the blue logo on the top left.

@Don: your wallpaper is really nice - looks like old paper or vellum/parchment!

Before i forget: RC 491 works ok for the units!

Actually it was closer to 32%, and I have 6 GB of RAM.
The wallpaper is of some old faded plans for some type of machinery with the Windows logo in the middle.

may be it would be a good idea for a Yowindow weather gadget for the desktop. On the other hand there are xxx weather gadgets for free ... f.e. http://www.htchome.org/en/features/
You can change a lot of (animated) styles and options. Examples:
