Move the mouse over the moon, a moon phase indicator pops up.
Move the mouse over the sun, you will see sunrise and sunset times.
The feature is available in the latest Release Candidate.

This is the only information I think should be displayed for the moon and the sun.
I don't think it's good to add elevation, azimuth or any other information.
Otherwise YoWindow will become too much overloaded with information.
What do you think?

Chucky, I don't understand what you are speaking about.

What he possibly meant:
to display the:
- snow line: how much snow has been fallen so far at the location
- ceiling: at which height the clouds begin to form themselves ("cloud base" or "Wolkenuntergrenze" in german)
but let's wait for chucky to enlighten us about the mystery of his suggestion

Thanks for clarirying
1. snow line
I would be happy to know a weather service that provides current snow-line for a location.
I didn't search too much, but I don't know any at the moment

METAR and yr.no do not provide this information.
2. cloud ceiling
Let me suppose Chucky meant cloud ceiling by "ceiling".
Who needs this?
I only can imagine plane pilots.
But YoWindow is not a special air software.
It is designed for everyone.
Because of this we have to include only features that are interested to most people.
And stay aside from special weather information that could easily make our program a cumbersome garbage pile.

Chucky wrote me a german pm, so now i know what he meant:
- snow line
my assumption was wrong. with snow-line he meant to which height snow is falling. for example snow is falling down to 800m or down to 1200m depending on the conditions. I heard this in the radio when they say: "temperature [this and that], the snow line lies at 900m" (google-translate says: "Снеговая линия"). So if Chucky gets this informaton and his location is below this line, he would know (or assume) that no snow is falling on this day. If his/a location is above this snow-line, he would await some snow during the day.
- ceiling

...and maybe (amateur-)meteorologists.
But as you said:

I know that Chucky is a member of a weather-station-forum in germany so maybe his interests are slightly different to your (Pavels) intention what YoWindow should provide

Wow, I didn't know about such meteo-parameter.
Thanks for letting me know.
METAR and yr.no do not provide this information.
And I suspect there is a tiny fraction of people who need this information around the world.
So not for YoWindow at the moment.
