Sorry about that. I should have been more detailed. My screen was way off when I turned on yowindow today. It should be around 40 something degrees but my screen showed -32 below with ton's of snow on the ground. How can that be corrected? Also as I'm typing this the system has stopped doing that and now I just get a gray screen with farm house in the background and when I click on the buttons nothing happans. Thanks,

Please give us the location or locations you are having problems with. What is your operating system? What version of YoWindow?

We need to know this information so we can try it on our own systems.

Hi Marty,

Kind of strange. Things have come back to normal except for the "Temp" in the little right box on screen just says "Temperature" but no number. I use Visa operating system and YoWindow 2.0.

Hi Rick,

I need to know the location that you are or have had a problem with.

Current conditions are coming from METAR stations. Each location is using a METAR station and your METAR station may have a problem.

Please supply me with your location so I can research what is wrong.

Hi Rick,

The METAR station that your location (Andover, Minnesota area) is using has been out of commission all of Thursday. It was giving temperatures like -31 and -21. So temperature, humidity, barometric pressure have been turned off and the station is just giving out flight information until the station is fixed. You are one of the lucky ones as you have 4 METAR stations in your area.

KANE Minneapolis/Blaine - is out of commission
KMIC Minneapolis Crystal
KMSP Minneapolis St. Paul

All 3 of the above are within a few miles of each other. So if you like the Minneapolis current information, use KMIC or KMSP for now.

KMGG Maple Lake is a few miles from you. This might also be an option.

Until KANE is fixed, I want you to do the following -

Select your location (Andover, Minnesota area)
Click on Location.
Click on Location Properties.
Change KANE to the METAR station that you decided on.
Click OK.
Once KANE is working again, you can change the METAR station back to KANE. But for now, this is the best that we can do.

Now you need to decide which METAR station to use.
