I'm not sure this is a bug but in my location property the winter is set for 12/27 which is good. But today I have winter (snow) showing. If I go on tomorrow the snow is gone till 12/17 & 12/18 when snow is on the ground again. Then on 12/19 the snow is gone again. I'm not sure this is the way it is programmed to operate or there is another trigger that puts the snow on the ground.

Hey!
When the temperature is below or equal to -5, YoWindow displays winter landscape disregarding the season-map.
Is it your case?
What location do you watch?

I think that is the case. When the temperature turned to 22F the snow left the ground. Thanks that explains why. I was watching Sherman, Ct. USA

Hey Pascha,
For Belgium, I believe it will be better that the winter scene only appears when the picto shows the snow falls on this moment.
For exemple, this week the temperatures will be often below -5 but without snow on the ground.
I suppose it's possible to program in that way?

It's a very hard task to choose between naked and winter picture.
In Saint-Petersburg in the spring we have many days when the landscape is snowy and the tempearture is between +1 and -5
Sometimes the snow falls from the sky, but the landscape is naked. It happens.
I think the way we pick the snow season is the best way we can do it now.
Yes, YoWindow fails a lot, but it picks the right picture also frequently.
Later on we have plans to read snow-cover info from the meteo-stations.
We do not want to make YoWindow dependent on country climate, this would make our program too much complex.
Thanks for the suggestion, Roger.
