Hi all - The date on my yowindow is showing 01 24 2008 whereas today is 13th April 2010.
Would appreciate any advice on correcting the problem

i can't confirm that - could you please tell us your location please?:

Hi Les,

While you give us your location, could you also give us:

- Your Windows version
- Your regional settings (time zone)
- Your Windows date
- Your YoWindows version
- Anything else you can think of that might help us help you.

Hi Guys & thanks for the reply
I live in Wodonga Victoria which is 300 Kms north of Melbourne
Currently using XP pro
Time zone is GMT + 10
Installed Yowindow on 20th December 2010 (Yowindow 2)
Windows time shown on task bar as Monday 16th May 2011

look what YoWindow shows me for Wodonga, everything seems allright - maybe it's a version-issue.
Could you try to install the latest version of YoWindow?

You said your taskbar shows May as the month - you mean April, right?

I'm afraid your info is a bit short for us to help you.
Your task bar info is, to say the least, a bit confusing.
And your not telling us what time (date) YoWindow is showing at the given task bar date.

Please give us full and accurate information.
A screenshot often tells more than words.

Furthermore I would like to ask you:
Do you experience time difference only at your location or also on others?
Also see: http://yowindow.com/help.php#q13 for further info.

If you experience difference on more locations you almost surely have a Windows settings issue.
Try restaring windows after checking your settings.

You could also try to completely uninstal and re-instal YoWindow.
Like Ikarus suggested: use the latest version.

I am extremely embarrassed!!!
The incorrect date shown on the screen shot is the date the picture was taken!
I did not look at the date/time at the top of the window.
I am quite happy now & apologise for my stupidity.
