YoWindow Weather Incorrect

Hi there,

can someone tell me where the current weather image used in yowindow actually comes from ?

I'm using a PWS and Weather Display, temp/baro etc are correctly displayed.

It's currently completely overcast (as per the weather station) and has been all day, but the yowindow image is clear blue sky.

See for yourself at http://www.dugglenet.org (front page, right hand side bar).

Regards.

I don't know for sure but are you sure the yowindow.xml is correct for the sky condition?
I'm asking because it says "Dry" for the sky-condition (icon-number is 5):

Hi,

I checked the /xml and it looks okay. It IS dry, but it's also 100% overcast.

Regards.

I don't think this is a YoWindow problem, WD is giving you icon 5 in the XML which I believe is partly cloudy, and that's what YoWindow uses to set the sky conditions. Maybe look at your clientraw.txt and see what's there too. There may be a setting issue in WD.

Hi Jim,

I think you're right. I stopped WD from uploading / creating the XML and changed over to your XML / clientraw script.

All seems well now, certainly looks a lot like the view from my window now !

Thanks, Simon
