Hi. Does anyone know how to turn off the the pop up inspector when yowindow is minimized on the system? its driving me nuts.

Currently there's no way to turn off the popup for the systray-icon.
You can make a suggestion in the suggestion sub-forum for an option for that.

Dear Koshy, I never thought about tray weather tooltip as a problem.
It may happen that YoWindow behaves in some wild way I have never expected it to on your PC.
Can you explain why the weather tooltip behaves irritating?

the reason it irritates me is because I have quite a few software running at the system tray that I used often. So when I go near the yowindow icon it just pop up all the time. After a while it just irritates with it constant poping up.

btw still love the program though.

OK, now I see the point.
Do you want to turn the tooltip off completely or you would prefer it to appear say in 1 second after you have pointer the mouse over the temperature?

I just looked at mine and all 30 of the programs in the system tray pop up a tool tip immediately just like YoWindow, even the Windows features. The only difference is that YoWindow has a much larger one with all the weather information. It doesn't bother me, but maybe there's an option that will make everyone happy. Maybe a small one that expands after hovering for 1 second?

Hi Koshy,
do you have your programm icons in the system tray or in the toolbar? I never heard that all programmes are in the systray. The Yowin inspector is in the systray and its very easy to move it into the non visible area.
Now the icon is only shown when you start Yowindow.
