YoWindow Forum

There's no bug in YoWindow, but some spammers reached the forum

How could they skip registration? Does anyone know how this is possible?
Maybe there's a bug in the forums software? All new updates installed etc?

Hey!

Unfortunately spammers use automatic software that is able to bypass user verification process (Captcha).
The version of phpBB our forum runs on is a bit old and the verification process is quite naive there.

At the moment I have to delete the spam by myself.

I will upgrate our forum soon to the new version that has strong spam blocking support, this should take away most spammers.
