Increase Frame rate?

I love this program for my PC screensaver. It brings a lot of character and life to my little workspace. I would love to see an increase of the frame rate of the screensaver. I notice it mostly when I watch the clouds drift by. Their pleasant effect is negated when I can see a very subtle studdering in their movements. I am positive the frame rate is not due to limited resources. My PC has an i5 cpu, 8 gigs of ram, and a SSD.

Glad you're enjoying YoWindow...
Are your graphics drivers up-to-date...?

I have a Geforce GTX 860m, and the drivers are relatively new (a few months old). I am not updating to the newest drivers because they create problems with a few programs I need to run. Does anybody know what frame rate the software/animations runs at? If it is already over 50fps, then it must be something else. It looked more like around 20fps, but I am no expert.

Also...try to adjust the refresh rate in your advanced screen settings...

Adobe Flash is up to date. Do you mean the refresh rate of my monitor? (60 Hertz) I cannot find a reference to the refresh rate/fps in the YoWindow>options>Advanced menu.

Mine is set to 59 Hertz and my screensaver runs smoothly on my
relatively 'old' system...
YoWindow does not offer that option...
Windows does...

Thanks for responding and trying to help. It may just be me or my system.
I'll still enjoy using it!

If you start YoWindow in debug-mode (look for a bat-file named "yowindow_debugMode.bat" in YoWindows program directory) you can display the frame-rate (FPS):
