Deinstallation of YoWinodw not complete

Hi friends,

i'm in contact with a user that has to re-register his valid license key. So he tries to uninstall YoWindow and re-install it. After that he tries to register with his key but YoWindow tells him it's already registered. But despite this it remains a version with only 3 days forecast.

So he has no possibility to enter his key.

How can he uninstall YoWindow completely from the system? Does anyone encounters the same problem?

Message from the user: after using the registry-editor and manually searching/deleting some entries he was able to enter his license-key and have fun with YoWindow unlimited!

What remains is: uninstalling (sometimes?) left some entries which hinders to enter the license-key.

I write "sometimes?" because i never had such a problem although i uninstalled and re-installed YoWindow several times for testing purposes...

Hi Reinhart,

I was wondering if perhaps user rights could have something to do with it.
It may be that it was installed with admin rights and/or not uninstalled with admin rights.

Just a thought.

you've mentioned a very good hint - i will tell it to the user. I haven't thought of it by myself. Thank you!
