Temperature in system tray not displaying

I miss seeing the actual temperature in the system tray of both my laptop (Windows 7 64-bit) and desktop (Windows XP 32-bit). And I did recently update to YoWindow 2.0 Build 429. Everything else is normal (and the computer time on both computers seems correct). Have been using YoWindows for over a year and have had no problem until now.........the suggestions already given in the forum for this same topic don't seem to apply in my situation? May I have some help. Thanks in advance.......

Hi skimmi,
it may be a crazy question: do you activate the sytem tray in the general options?

Not exactly sure what you mean but did have it set to appear on the right hand side of my system tray but all that I see right now is the YoWindows icon. So I either right click on that icon and select "Open YoWindows" or go into the start menu and click on YoWindows there. I hope that answers the question?

Is your location selected as a 'Home' location?
Do you see a house picture near your location in YoWindow?

Do hope that you will be able to help me as I was thinking of going ahead and buying the program. Have tried reinstalling it on both my desktop and laptop. And I think it may be something to do with the 429 version as I have had no problems until I upgraded to it?
Thank you

Hi Skimmi,
There is not a problem with YoWindow. The problem is your Metar station is not functioning right now. Winston-Salem, North Carolina has a Metar station of KINT.
I looked up your location and the Inspector panel shows the word Temperature in Red. I tried your location on my computer and set it as Home. I no longer had a temperature in the system tray.
Try another location near you and set it as Home. See if you have a temperature in the system tray.
Let me know how that works.

Hi Pasha,
As I let Skimmi know, I found the problem is with Winston-Salem's Metar station. I looked up Wunderground and they are using KGSO instead of KINT.
I used nirsoft Metar to read the Metars. KINT shows up as N/A under temperature and humidity. KGSO gives all statistics. KINT is Winston-Salem's Metar station and KGSO is Greensboro's Metar station.
The location with a problem is
4499612 ; Winston-Salem / North Carolina / USA
If I use KINT as Home location, I no longer have a temperature in system tray. If I use KGSO as Home location, I have a temperature in the system tray.
I hope all of this helps you out.

Marty, thank you very much.
That is the case!
It looks like KINT does not provide the weather in the night.
I will remove KINT shorly from YoWindow data-base.
Skimmi, no need to change location, the weather will be updated ok in the system tray very soon.

Thank you! I now see the temperature in the system tray and thank you so much for working it out for me. I really do like YoWindows because it shows me just what I want.......and no advertising. I love having it as my screensaver, the pictures are so neat.
Thanks again for helping me....
