Hello!
I am Maryna from Ukraine. I live in Kyiv and it's quite sad that your programme is misspelling name of Ukrainian capital. Here is great article with step by step explanation, why you should use Kyiv (Ukrainian language), but not Kiev (Russian language).

Welcome to YoWindow.

I've moved your post to this section, since it had nothing to do with PWS (Personal Weather Station).

I can imagine you're not satisfied that Kyiv isn't spelled in Ukranian language.
However it has nothing to do with being spelled in Russian.
YoWindow is using the http://www.geonames.org database for its names.
These are international, not Russian.
In this database the geonames-ID for Kyiv: 703448 is spelled Kiev.

Maybe as a little compensation it's good to know that you can change the name yourself in your YoWindow version.
When you are using the desktop version go to Location/Properties. Here you can type any name you like.
