Hi Markus,
Welcome to YoWindow.
8630153; Hakuba/Nagano/Japan was not found in the Geonames Database that YoWindow uses.
I have added your Railroad Station instead.
7558024; Hakuba-eki/Nagano/Japan has been added to the database.
Enjoy YoWindow.

Thank you Marty,
that's strange. I got the code from yr.no. Could you try again as title "Hakuba-eki" is confusing. Just Hakuba is much better.
Thanks!
Update:
Sorry, just found out that I can change the name. But something else. When I compare yr.no with the widget the temp. is different (yr.no 20 C, yowindow 26 C). What's the reason and is there a solution?

Hi Markus,
Yr.no is giving you a forecast only.
YoWindow is supplying you with the latest METAR reading from the closest METAR station.
7558024; Hakuba-eki/Nagano/Japan is using METAR station RJNT Toyama Airport, Japan.
If you know of a closer METAR station, you can replace RJNT with that icao code.
If you want to download the latest BETA version of the Desktop, click on the link at the top of the forum page.
Click on Location > Properties.
You have the option of using the METAR station or OWM for your current conditions.
Let us know how things work out for you and what you are using.
Thank you in advance.
Marty

Thank you Marty for your quick reply - much appreciated.
In this case the weather data are not from Hakuba which explains the incorrect temp. of + 6 C. (BTW yr.no is correct). Hakuba doesn't have a METAR station and I think I threfore cannot use yowindow for our location. That's a pitty, I really like it.
Thanks,
Markus
