As much as we need it in the desktop.
By that I mean it's always handy when we're discussing issues to have the version numbers.
As far as I'm concerned there's no hurry to have it included.
On the other hand I've had several occasions already where I wanted to check my version number.....

I would also like to have the version number displayed. I have yowindow now running on four different Android devices and Android versions, so I might lose perspective

YoWindow still force closes at start, like with 0.59 on HTC Wildfire S (Android 2.3.3).
(I had to uninstall 0.58 before the installation of the new version.)

So fat so good with .60 on a nexus 10. A suggestion: I like the live wallpaper idea but it doesn't show any weather information only the animated backgrounds. Please add weather info.

Samsung 2.3.6
the app is working on all of the above.

Samsung 2.3.6 is still not able to use the Options Menu. viewtopic.php?f=58&t=21539&start=10#p55458
I tried tapping on 'About' and got a 'Force Close' message.

When using the back arrow from Options Menu to return to the weather,
there is a 3 - 10 second display of black screen on the Samsung 2.3.6.
On the Kyoceras 4.0.4, there is a blip of a black screen. You cannot count the seconds.
On the NextBook 4.1.1 and the Lenovo 4.1.2, I do not notice a blip of black screen.

The black screen must be when the database is being loaded.
