So, crApple have purchased the owners of TestFlight - where do we stand regarding beta updates of YoWindow?

Yeah, sad news.
We are going to keep with Test Flight until they shutdown support in March.
After that we will transfer beta-testing to another service.

Probablly HockeyKit is the way to go
