Hello,
it looks like yr.no updates weather every 6 hours. that is too much of a delay to show on website.
instead, i want to use OWM which is more accurate.
I added forecast_provider=owm to <param name="flashvars" value= ................> but without any change. it still fetched from yr.no
Am I doing anything wrong?
Please help.
forecast_provider=owm NOT working

Hi Chintan,
What is the location you are having a problem with?
Can you also supply us with a link to your website so we can check the code?
Thank you in advance.

Re: forecast_provider=owm NOT working
actually, i think the forecast shows of OWM - however, the current temperature is too different.
I think current temperature is only pulled from yr.no
Is that correct?
I think current weather is related to METAR ICAO code? Is that true?
If yes, the I need to find the closest ICAO code for Trimbak, India.
current temperature that shows for Trimbak on OWM is around 12 C and the widget shows 22 C which is unacceptable.
Please reply to all above questions.

Re: forecast_provider=owm NOT working
Yes, the current temperature is NOT provided by OWM.
Yes, ICAO codes and METAR.
I hope to support OWM current weather soon.
Stay tuned!
