What's new?

- App and Wallpaper live together peacefully.
That one was hard - took 2 weeks to fix.

- Low memory problems fixed

- YoWindow reflects real season now, not real weather still though.

- Accelerometer is used for parallax effect instead of Gyroscope.
The effect is smoother, consumes significantly less CPU and works on more devices.

- FIXED: horse sliding
- FIXED: black squares all over the landscape appear occasionally

Guys, sorry it took so long for this update.
We are back on regular updates for Android track, stay tuned.

No problems on my phone. Both wallpaper and app work well with each other.

App crashes on location finder
Unfortunately, Yowindow weather [Alpha] has stopped

Hi,

I am John from India.

I am using Micromax A110 mobile (android 4.1.1)

After installing Yowindow Alfa 1.13 build, background and weather display is good. But when I change the location or when I change the landscape, I am getting the following error message and Yowindow stops working.
"UNFORTUNATELY YOWINDOW WEATHER [ALFA] STOPPED WORKING"

One more observation is, when I shake my mobile --- trees, lawn, house, clouds and completed backgroung is shaking...(like earthquake)---> Today I was travelling in bus, even the vibrationof the bus is reflected in the Yowindow background.

I uninstalled the completed Yowindow application and re-installed 1.13 build again. Now even the application is not opening. Same error message as above mentioned appears when opening the Yowindow application.

Please check and let me know, what I want to do next.

Happy New s Par!
I installed new version as I opened it as an app all works
As I opened it as a wallpaper all is fixed no move no horse , no wind and I losted all settings
I uuninstall it and re-install and I got a bad message
Unfortunately Yo window has stopped
as an app or as a wallpaper
Then I re install the older version 1.12 and the new one 1.13
As an app all is working I got an artefact : only the big cloud I re-open it It's work
But as a wallpaper no move the clouds disappeared but reappeared 20 seconds later

Everything works. A small detail, the square "The" I décallé worm down over the bar instead. In the background no movement. We reconné the YoWindow PC, great job, cheers.

Crashes on my Tablet too. Clean installs on both. I get to the main screen that is all blue, I touch the Location button and it crashes.

Hi Pasha,

First the Bad News.
Kyoceras 4.0.4 - Crashed 1 time after the load from Testflight. I could not repeat the crash after that. So 1 crash only.

Samsung 2.3.6 - This occurred after the load and it occurs every time I turn on the Samsung.
YoWindow takes a long time (30 seconds or more) to load temperature and the landscape.
Once it loads, there is no cloud or wildflower motion. YoWindow is basically frozen.
I cannot exit out of it.
A black box finally displays with "Sorry, ............... Force Close".
Once I tap Force Close, Samsung is back to Home Screen.
I can then tap on YoWindow icon and everything works okay after that
until I turn off the Samsung and turn it back on.


So now the Good News.
Horse no longer sliding - Samsung 2.3.6, Kyoceras 4.0.4, NextBook 4.1.1
Portrait Mode OK - Samsung 2.3.6, Kyoceras 4.0.4, NextBook 4.1.1
Landscape Mode OK - Samsung 2.3.6, Kyoceras 4.0.4, NextBook 4.1.1

Parallax - Working on Samsung 2.3.6 and Kyoceras 4.0.4
It is just beginning to work on NextBook 4.1.1 - You have to really watch and know what you are looking for.


Still do not see any Birds.

Pencil for changing a location name is huge on the Samsung 2.3.6 - it is twice the size of the X.
I tried the pencil to change a name. The actual entry worked OK, but the location name did not change.

I tried another clean install on my tablet and it worked. I tried another clean install on my phone but it still crashed. Score = Tablet 1 phone 0
