I just added your app during my mouse movement over the picture I thought I observed a tab marked calendar,if so how do I get it back?

Click the date at the top of the window or select "Calendar" under the time menu to bring up the calendar. The "tab" you saw was a tool tip; it pops up when you hover your cursor the date.
