Sorry, but YoWindow is driving me totally nuts, lately.
It's no fun anymore and I'm almost about to uninstall it.
I've got the latest RC Build 145 from the top of this page on XP Home SP3.
I just noticed when I open the desktop properties, go to the screensaver settings and click Preview while YoWindow is chosen, the preview is showing the wrong season of the landscapes.
If I repeat to click the preview it's...
winter, winter, summer, winter, winter, summer, winter, winter, summer ...
So it's always twice winter, followed by once summer.

Starting YoWindow as a program, not as a screensaver, I get exactly the same behaviour.

What on earth is going on with this previously amazing screensaver?
What can I do about this or what version do I have to install to get rid of this crazy effect, please?

You recently changed your Options.xml http://he1.yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15378
Could that be causing your problem?

What is the location that you are having a problem with?
That way we check and see if we have the same problem.

No, changing the options.xml resolved the problem (not in the first run when I changed two entries, but on the second run when I replaced the broken file with a "good" copy from my second installation), but it wasn't permanent in the end.
Today, something must have happened which caused the same behaviour again.
Unfortunately, I don't know what action was responsible for the return of that issue.
As for now, I replaced the options.xml by a copy of an older drive image of my first computer and reinstalled build 145,
That way I was able to resolve the problem, but I don't think it will be a permanent solution.
I'm sure, it will return again.

I just did some experiments with Cyberlink PowerCinema, but I wasn't able to recreate this wrong behaviour of YoWindow so far.
The reason I suspected PowerCinema was because this program leads to another problem.
Each time after running PowerCinema, YoWindow doesn't start as screensaver anymore.
To fix this, I have to enter the desktop properties, choose another screensaver and start the preview of this other screensaver and hit OK.
Then I have to choose YoWindow again and hit OK again.
Well, I think, that's another story,...I just wanted to explain why I suspected PowerCinema to cause all this.
But this time PowerCinema doesn't seem to be involved (anyway, the screensaver issue, as described in this second section of my post, is still present here).

To answer your question, it's Kaiserslautern in Germany, but I don't think it's something about the location,
because my second installation on my netbook, set up to the same location is working absolutely fine (well, but there isn't any PowerCinema there either).

Since there's no problem on your notebook then your PC is driving you nuts...

Why would it be my PC if only YoWindow is affected?
The only other program that seems to be involved here is PowerCinema, but I didn't change anything on that one.
