I wasn't quite sure how to translate the word 'naked' regarding the weather in YoWin so I googled for 'naked weather'. One word of advice: Don't! You'll get no help whatsoever!!

I think that we have invented this term, sorry :)
This is not about the weather.
We call "Naked" the time of the year when there are on leafs on the trees, but the ground is not covered with snow.
So the trees are naked.

I think in English the proper term is "off-season".
I hope our native English speakers will correct me.

Hi Leif,

I think the word you need to translate is 'Dormant'.

When the leaves are off of the trees and there are no buds, the trees are Dormant.
When they are 'Dormant', they are Sleeping and preparing for new growth next spring.

Have a good day.
:)

When I was younger, naked and dormant didn't exactly go together. Nowadays though, I seem to have reached Autumn --'s not so good (but as long as winter doesn't ever set in, that'll be fine.)
