I took some time to update desktop edition.

-FIXED: Sun and Moon tooltips are not displayed in picture landscapes

Major changes.

I have significantly modified the desktop edition along with the landscapes.
Please check if I did not break anything.
This is important.


NEW: Sounds

We have started to work on a big feature - sounds.
I hope we will be done within the next 2 weeks.

In this build you will hear the first portion of the sounds.
I need your opinion.
Do you like the sounds?
Do they sound irritating?
Do you like the default volume level?

You can control sound from the Options.
In screen-saver the sound is disabled by default.

Most sounds are in stereo. You can feel where the sound is coming from.

These are the sound effects we have added so far.

NEW: Now you can override season for the given location.
Go to main-menu/Location/Location Properties
See the bottom of the Propreties window.

- Planes take-off speed decreased in half to better reflect the reality.

Hey Pasha,

This is great and just in time. I started to get jealous because of these new options in the iOs versions.

My first impression:
Sounds are good. But I need to put all volumes on max. Both in YoWindow as on my PC.
I think overwriting the season is a nice extra option.

Hi Pavel,

The rain needs to be a little louder; it is very quiet compared to the other sounds. I have to set the volume slider all the way to 100% just to be able to hear medium rain and I cannot hear light rain at all. The other sounds sound good with the volume at 75%.

Do this at your own risk...

You can fiddle with the sound volume in the options.xml file...

Close YoWindow...

Open with notepad...

Set the sound level up to 9 + save + change the file properties to 'read only' and hear the difference...

(always a good idea to back it up also...)

We are a little careful, because we are afraid to make the sounds irritating.
We will adjust the volume up in the next build.
