New iPad, portrait: sky is wider than landscape

The update to the app allows for the changing of the backgrounds! Much better than looking at the gloomy sky (raining here today, not complaining we really are lacking in that department this year).

Have sounds, but with volume to highest setting, the sounds can barely be heard. They are about the 1 or 2 bar level on most other apps with sounds.

Maybe because the volume is so high and the sounds so low that it also still sounds like a movie projector and hammer in the faint background. This was not noticed on the iPad 2. That one had great sounds.

work in progress, I know.

On my iPad 3 in portrait mode ther is a black square in the bottom right corner. Looks fine in landscape mode. It is the same for all the landscapes. Sound is very low not like on my iPhone 5.

Tom, can you take a screen-shot with the black square?
I wonder why sound is low on the new iPad. Have you tried to set the volume to maximum?

Images, box is in all but sky background. However, note the plane can go across it. I also note the sky background fills the screen where the other backgrounds have a "letterboxed" appearance to them, the black bars on the side. Probably resolution issues with the new iPad again.

NOTE the plane over the box.
