Welcome to the secret forum of iOS beta testers!
I hope to get important feedback from you before we show iPhone baby to the world.
The upcoming YoWindow version is solely designed to be run on small iPhone (or iPod touch) screen.
It is possible to run it on iPad, but it is not supposed to be run on big screen.
Beta testing process
This is not a trivial task to organize iOS program beta-testing.
Fortunately, there is a wonderful service that helps with this task.
It is called Test Flight - https://testflightapp.com
On the first step we are sending you an invitation to join TestFlight.
Then you will have to register inside TestFlight system from the browser of your device.
Yes, right on your iPhone, iPod or iPad.
Then you will have to accept the invitation.
Test Flight will ask you to install a special service on the device.
You have to accept it in order for the system to work.
After you have accepted the invitation, please wait for the next beta-build.
You will receive a notification by email.
This build will be allowed to run on your device.
Then all you need to do is to download and install the program with TestFlight help.
First time testing
When you run the program for the first time, I expect it to detect the following aspects automatically.
1. Language
2. Time format
3. Unit system
4. Location
Let me know if YoWindow detected your local settings wrong.
One post per an error
You are welcome to report any issues you to find with iOS alpha version.
This is important: please submit every issue in a separate post even if you to find more than one.
Do not share screen-shots outside this forum
Please don't share YoWindow screen-shots.
However, feel free to speak about iOS edition to anyone publicly.
You are very welcome to share anything you knew about the program.
But the pictures are the secret.
Miscellaneous
YoWindow A - means YoWindow Alpha version.
If a feature is available from debug menu only - it is not ready for beta testing.
Please do not report a problem related to unfinished features.

Welcome, Reinhart!
I just have sent the welcome emails and invitations to everybody who has applied.
By accepting the invitation you send me your device ID.
Then I will inject this ID into YoWindow iOS builds.
Otherwise the app would not be able to run on your device.
When most device IDs will be collected I will release the first build for beta-testing.
I expect most testers will accept the invitations by Tuesday.

Re: Welcome, secret agents!
We'll have to wait for the invitation in order to install the beta-app...
Will probably be through a certificate to register our device (UDID)...
I have one question for Pavel...
Can I register both my iPhone4 and iPad2..?

Re: Welcome, secret agents!
I suppose we can upload screenshots of YoWindow running on our iDevices...
For those who don't know how...
Just hold the homebutton and on/off simultaniously untill your screen goes white for a second...
You can also hear your device taking a picture...
The picture will auto-store in your photo album as a .png file...
Connect your iPhone to your pc..
Computer\Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM is the directory to look for...
Depending on the amount of pictures there may be one or two sub-directories...
Look in both for the IMG_XXXX.PNG file...(Filtering on creation date will make this easier...)
Copy the pictures to a directory of your choosing so that you can easily find them back when you want to upload one...
Hope this helps...
