Hello,

I think it could be nice to setup YoWindow in the way when is snowing and temperature = 0 or <0 to put winter landscape (white):

Hi Fred,

I think:

'When the temperature less or equal to -5°C (23°F), winter season displayed.'

should be changed to 0 or less °C.

Hey, Emil!
It is very hard to find a reliable balance in this case.
Example.
Right now in my city - Saint-Petersburg it is snowing.
But there are no snow on the ground.
The temperature is -1 C

We have chosen the rule that we think is most reliable.
Of course this is not a perfect solution.

Hello,

I know that the mobile versions have the highest priority now, but I have a suggestion for the winter landscape, which is simple and in my opinion it can be appropriate for everybody. :)

There would be an option inside YoWindow for it, for example in Location/Details menu under the season map. It can be set automatic (this would be default and it's the way that it works now), on (winter landscape shown), off (naked landscape shown). Thus, everybody can decide when he/she wants to see the winter landscape, for instance according to there is snow on the ground or not. It could be built in to the widget, and add to the widget parameters, like "winter=auto/on/off".

I think this is not a difficult set, and I am sure that I would use it in the desktop and widget version too. :)
I hope that the idea gains your approval.

Adrian

Yesterday it was -6 in my place and snow landscape, now we have -2 and not snow landscape. Why ? I think it is more logic snow is below 0.
