YoWindow Forum

Having trouble getting YoWindow to work as a screen saver. Downloaded a few times now as a screensaver but nothing happens. I can view it from the icon on my desktop OK.
If any body can give me a hint(s), would be much obliged. Happy to receive emails via jonkacel@gmx.com

I am having the same issue. It is running but there is no "YoWindow" option in my screensavers. HELP!

I have no idea why screen-saver is not working.

What is your operating system?

Windows 7 and I downloaded the current YoWindow too. But when I hit the screensaver option nothing gets changed.

Windows 7 installed on a new Notebook - installation OK (tray icon only) - BUT NO SCREENSAVER!

any "security leck" fixed last patchday and install of screensavers blocked?

it is the only question i can find out, because installation was OK the week before (existing system Windows 7)

any idea?

i found another thing at an "older" pc:

- yowindow-directory: the files are created oct 7th
- yowindow.scr is created aug 23rd
--> so the problem should be since or before oct 7th - the patchday was oct 9th

is the .scr delivered with the actual package?

Guys, it turned out that the screen-saver was not being installed properly in the latest builds.
My fault.
Please download and install RC b109.
I hope this time the screen-saver will install properly.
After upgrade you would have to select YoWindow screens-saver manually in Display Properties settings.

I am a long time user. I have created my own landscape (my house photo) 2 years ago. It has worked great.

I also recently upgraded and got the version w/o the screen saver. Now that seems corrected in RC 109, but the weather does not show on my landscape now.

I do get the brightness and movement from the sun, but no sky and no clouds.

Do I still have an incomplete version??
