Dear friends, I have good news - Microsoft has responded to our complaint.
And it looks like the future is bright.
YoWindow did not work in Release Preview, but it does work in the latest internal versions (available to Microsoft only) of Windows 8.

I've checked the behavior in the Release Preview build and I see the same behavior. However, I'm not able to reproduce the issue in later test builds.

I'll keep an eye on this to see if it regresses.
