Option for disabling balloon tip

Thanks for your answer, par! I really appreciate your kind support and care in this forum.

In your posting you are describing two things:
+ the balloon message informs about minimizing to tray
+ the balloon itself makes the temperature visible for some seconds (if icons are hidden in system tray)

And both criteria are fulfilled by my second suggestion, aren't they?

The only difference from now is that the new balloon tip would give a one-off hint to the user (about minimizing to tray) so it would be permanently disabled after closing it.

Additinal to this, the new balloon could be provided with a [x] button. I this case the balloon tip would be permanently disabled only by closing it with the [x] in its right upper corner.

What do you think about it?

However, for me an additional option for disabling the balloon tip would be great, too.

Let's hope Par found or will find a solution for your problem and its final is released very soon... I'm hoping for an option for disabling the balloon tip as well.

If you dont want to use a Beta version, you can only install YoWindow 3 Build 50 - it's without balloon tips.

We want you to watch the weather with pleasure.

1. To reduce the negative impact of Minimized balloon tooltip we have decreased the display time to 1.5 seconds.
Looks reasonable.

2. If you still don't like it, here's a workaround.
To minimize YoWindow to tray, click the temperature icon.
This will minimize YoWindow, but the balloon will not pop up.

But because I dont't like the new "(( Broadcast ))" menu item as well, I think I will stay with Build 50 for a long time.

Popping up balloon tips, an accentuated menu item which has nothing to do with watching the weather with pleasure - and no way to hide these features...

Sorry, Par, YoWindow is a great program, I like it very much. But if I have the choice to go with an older version without these things - or a newer version with a nicer look in some areas... I will stay with YoWindow 3 Build 50.

I partially agree with Cloud...

There is really no need for the pop-up when YoWindow is minimized to the system tray...

Because we already know when we hit the X mark that YoWindow will keep running...

As far as the broadcast item is concerned...I use it myself and have no problem with it at all...though I would like to have the

option to where I would like the screenshot in Facebook...my homepage or a group I'm part or administrator of...

What's wrong with Broadcast menu?
I don't understand.

Wally, regarding Facebook sharing.
Have you seen a similar feature in some other software?
I haven't so I don't know how this feature is usually made.
And I'm not sure if it is even possible
