Thanks, Steve!
But what was the path to the folder?
If you want privacy, send it by email, please.

Daily rain total and Snow level are displayed for PWS enabled location only.
The PWS is not set up in your options.xml
Do you own a PWS?

The path was as you stated, but it did not show in the folder view.
Yes I have a PWS and it is updating to YoWindow.
I have it pointing to this;
<?xml version="1.0"?>
-<response> -<current_weather> -<temperature unit="f"> <current value="54.7"/> <feels_like value="54.7"/> </temperature> <humidity value="76"/> <pressure unit="inchMerc" value="29.77" trend="-0.03"/> -<wind> <speed unit="mph" value="1.9"/> <direction value="315"/> <gust unit="mph" value="1.4"/> </wind> -<sky> -<precipitation> -<rain> <rate unit="iph" value="0.20"/> <daily_total unit="inch" value="0.00"/> </rain> -<snow> <level unit="inch" value="4.00"/> </snow> </precipitation> </sky> -<auto_update> <interval value="65"/> </auto_update> </current_weather> </response>
I just changed the snow total and it changed in this file.
I have this in the PWS setup: C:\Program Files (x86)\YoWindow\YoWindow.xml
Not sure what is going on as it all worked well until I switched to version 3
Appreciate any help I cab get.

I uninstalled again this time using the YoWindow Uninstall.exe.
I did a search for YopWindow and it came up blank.
I installed RC53 and set it up for my PWS.
I changed some sky condition and verified that in fact the application is reading my PWS.
I let the screen saver come on and it was reading 22 min old data and not sure where the temperature was coming from.
Did not have my changed sky condition.
It had a temp from around 6:30 PM after dark that was higher than any temperature I reached today.
It seems that the application works fine, but not the screen saver.
And no rain or snow totals on the screen saver.
Hope this helps find out what I am doing wrong...

It looks like the screen-saver is either old or it cannot get an access to YoWindow.xml
I've spent half an hour trying to repeat the error - no luck, YoWindow is working properly.
By the way, it was hard to copy XML code you have typed right into the forum.
There is a button "Code" in the message editing interface of the forum for this purpose.
On contemporary Windows it is not a good idea to put data files under "Program Files" folder.
So my advice 1 is the following.
Put YoWindow.xml to some neutral folder.
For example C:\data\YoWindow.xml
And point YoWindow to the new path again.
Make sure the data are read in the app.
The second thing I want you to do is to send me 2 screen shots to
support@repkasoft.com
1. Screen-saver, make sure the Inspector is cleary seen on the picture.
2. Open Display Properties of Windows, find YoWindow Screen saver and click "Preview"
Is the problem seen?
If yes, then take a screen-shot of the Display Properties window and send it to me.

Thank you for help with investigation of this problem.

I am not sure how to use the code button, but will try to figure it out.
I will do as suggested tonight and send screen shots to you.
I just checked the screensaver preview and it is the same, not my data.
Is it not strange that it worked fine in the program folder until now?
I hope this works or that I was knowledgeable enough to help fix it.
I appreciate your attention to this problem.

I set up the xml file as suggested.
Still have same issue, I verified that the application was receiving my data by changing the sky condition.
Screen saver did not pick up the change.
I e-mailed the two screenshots.

Hey, Steve!
There is no doubt the screen-saver is not able to read YoWindow.xml, though the application is.
YoWindow displays weather received from PWS in navy blue color.
The color of weather data on the screen shots you have sent to me is black.
I still have no idea why the error occurs.
As you said, you have moved YoWindow.xml to C:\data
And that means there is no sensible reason to prevent screen-saver from working properly with PWS.
Please, can you send me your options.xml file again after you have altered the place of YoWindow.xml
Also please send me YoWindow.xml so I can reproduce the problem on my PC.
Also, please answer this question.
Are you running Windows as Administrator or a regular user?

I will e-mail both files requested.
I am not sure how to tell if I am running admin or user on Windows 7
Is there a place to check?

Still no luck with my screen saver.
If I set it up, the first time it opens it picks up my PWS info. Next time it does not pick up my PWS data. Application does keep my PWS data.
Any suggestions?
