When you are in screensaver, does it refresh and update for you?

I will continue to tweak my settings. Maybe I am overlooking something.

After looking at my screensaver screen for half an hour, I can confirm you with square eyes:

Shortly after starting screensaver mode it showed me 'Loading actual weather' or 'Loading forecast' at the bottom right of my screen, I can't remember which one, sorry. Besides that I had a constantly green LIVE indicator at the top left of my screen.

After about 25 min. it briefly showed me 'Loading actual weather' at the bottom right.
Then after half an hour I pressed F5, which gave me both 'Loading actual weather' and 'Loading forecast' at the bottom right.

Check your firewall settings...

You need to give the yoscreensaver (different than the desktop app) access to the internet...

Hi Mike,

I set up Rochester as my home location again. I did the same as Fred did and watched the screen saver. I was able to press F5 and get new forecast and new actual temperature. The screen saver also updated on its own.

I have looked up your Metar station. KROC is a very reliable station.

Fred and I have no problem with Rochester (KROC). You have said that you will tweak your settings some more. I have not unchecked any of Pasha's default settings except for NWS for a forecast. I prefer Yr.No. I have added check marks but not gotten rid of any other than NWS. So how have you tweaked your settings?

Also, what operating system are you running with?

If the firewall suggestion does not help you out, please supply us with the information that I have asked for.

Turn off the firewall temporary and try to run screensaver, let us know the results.

Turned firewall off with no luck. I have taken a picture of the screensaver with the error.

Just got home from work and noticed that the YoWindow screensaver never kicked in.

I'm sorry I don't know what does "kick in" mean in English.
What does it mean?
