Hi Pasha,
I'm missing the automatic update function for the forecast
Only when I start Yowindow I get an update, but during all the running time during the day I have to update manually!

Do you experience this with the weather forecast only?
This is not going to happen normally.
Please send me YoWindow configuration files I will investigate the problem.
I need files located in the following folder on your computer
-Vista or Windows 7
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\YoWindow
-XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\YoWindow
Replace [your user name] with your Windows login (user) name
The files I need are
log.txt
options.xml
weatherCache.xml
worldCache.xml

Hi Pasha,
yes, it is strange :? because it is only the forecast. My PWS datas were updated every 2 hours.
Here are the files, but I'm sorry, there is no log.txt on my installation :?:

I cannot repeat the auto-update problem right away. I think I need to wait...
Try to exit YoWindow with menu/Program/Exit, then you will probably find log.txt beside options.xml
It must be there.
Please send me your current yowindow.xml, just to make sure that my setup copies yours.

The actual xml's are added. Sorry to have no better info.

Sorry log.txt is not generated anymore by YoWindow when it is running in regular mode.
Werner, I have setup the latest relase of YoWindow on my second notebook with Vista.
It will be running through the day with your settings.
Let's see if the forecast auto-update problem will occure.
Sorry for the delay, still under pressure...

Hey Werner!
I was not able to repeat the problem yesterday.
The weather forecast for Son Severa was updating flawlessly from morning till night.
I did not notice the weather forecast numbers turn brown.
1. How did you know that the weather forecast is out of date?
2. Did the text on Forecast Panel tiles turned brown?
It may happen that YoWindow will fetch yr.no forecast with the delay compared to the data on yr.no site.
YoWindow updates the forecast at the time yr.no recommends to do so.
Probably this recommendation is provided wrong.
