Make sure to scroll Options to the very bottom.
Do you see "Debug"?
There is “debug mode” on the bottom of the about yowindow page!
I clicked that. But nothing changes on the options page. Yes I scrolled to the bottom.
That's very strange. Works for me.
Does anyone else experience this problem?

Hi Pasha,

I can confirm this partly.
I've tested it on both 0.55 and 0.56, no earlier versions.

Smartphone acts different from tablet!

1. When clicking over/debug on smartphone (at the bottom), nothing(!) happens.
Screen stays on 'over' page.

2. When clicking over/debug on the tablet, it returns to the initial page where you can choose 'over'.
It has now added the debug option at the bottom of the page.
When entering debug there are the options FPS counter and Debug Panel which can each seperately be activated.

Hope this helps.
Fred

Good Morning All,

Regarding the "Debug" mode, it does not show up at all on 0.55 & 0.56 on my phone. The only hint of it is when you go to the information part about this program and it is waaaay down on the bottom of the page (highlighted in blue).

Have never been quite sure how it works (I am still relatively new to all of this)....... :%)

Cheers,
Angelique

Hi Pasha,

I have had no problem with turning on Debug Mode.
I have the Debug Mode working on my phones and my tablets.

I have been able to get the Debug Mode link to do nothing.
If I tap Debug Mode twice real fast, Debug Mode will do nothing
and you will not return to 'About'.

If I tap it one time, Debug Mode will return to "About".
I can then check mark the FPS and Debug options.

I hope this information helps.

:)

Fred, "debug" link switch works on my HTC Incredible S phone. So it is not a matter of tablet vs phone.
Probably it has something to do with the browser version installed on the device.

As Marty have mentioned tapping debug for the second time turns debug mode off. May it be the case?

Hi Pasha,

I've tried several links on the about page on my phone.
They all work (link to the corresponding website).
All but debug mode.
I managed to repiclate Marty's double tapping on my tablet.
It works as he described.
However, activating debug mode on my phone is not possible.

For what it's worth, my browser version is WebKit/534.30.

Thanks, Fred, now I know that the method I was using to handle debug tap is not reliable on all devices.
I hope to fix it soon.

Hi Pasha,

Since there is a problem with the Debug Mode link on the About page,
I thought I would completely test the Options Menu on my Samsung 2.3.6.

From Options Menu - If I single tap on About, Temperature, or Parallax - they highlight and then do nothing.
From Options Menu - If I single tap on Update Weather - it highlights and then Unit page displays.
While on Unit page, if I single tap on USA - it highlights and then does nothing.
From Options Menu - If I single tap on Units - it highlights and then YoWindow.com page displays so that you can vote for YoWindow.

I went thru the above steps on my Kyoceras 4.0.4, NextBook 4.1.1, and Lenovo 4.1.2
and everything worked as it should.

:(
