good morning Pavel and the rest of the guys here on this board,
there are a lot of people collecting mushrooms here in Germany - mainly in the southern part of our country.
We do have these different types of boletuses, too. The under birch type is frequently found here in my area.
In Bavaria it is very popular to collect the agaricus campestris or "Wiesenchampignon or Schwammerl", too.
And sometimes you will find these yellow mushrooms we call "Pfifferlinge". I know they are also available in the eastern part of Europe.
They are a real delicacy.
But a lot of people do not know about the mushrooms and do not spend time for this type of silent hunt. And as it is so cheap and easy to buy mushroooms at the supermarket they almost buy it over there filled in glasses and ready to serve.
But this taste wont reach the fresh ones.
It is the same when you enjoy a good piece of deer or wild pig fresh from the hunt - and the heart or the liver is a real good spread.
..... and afterwards a good home made fruit brandy
..... that's heaven on earth!
have a good day and let's enjoy some of these poor mans dreams
Uli
