Hi,
Newly registered Yowindow on Windows 7 user. Love the fact the landscapes reflect actual weather. Have always liked the idea of a screen saver that you can run all year and it gradually changes as the seasons change, holidays. etc. I like the town location. Lots of detail and little things you can do, hope to see more, especially with the change of seasons and upcoming holidays.
A couple questions:
Is it possible to show weather for more than one location at the same time? Maybe just a second inspector panel, or split screen? Just curious. Not hard to switch, but I do often monitor long term forecast for multiple locations.
How often is weather updated? I did not see a setting to configure that.
Nice. Thanks.
Love the town location

Hi George,
Welcome to YoWindow.
To answer your second question:
The current weather refreshes automatically about every 30-40 minutes.
There;s no setting for this.
The weather info depends on the refresh rate of your METAR.
If your METAR refeshes regularly you can also update manually by pressing F5.
Enjoy YoWindow.

Hi Fred,
Thanks for the reply.
Before posting my original question I noticed the "Observed" time was over 1 hour. I don't think I manually updated, but after interacting with the program it changed to 20 minutes, if I remember it correctly now.
Is "Observed" and update the same in Yowindow? I wondered if they might be different, and Yowindow actually checks more frequently than the METAR data changes.

Hi George,
Welcome to YoWindow.
The 'Observed' is the actual time since the Metar station reported.
Enjoy YoWindow.
