cannot get added city to appear in yowindow app.

nice weather app. great view. though cant get add city to work.

i get the city at yowindow.com but it does NOT appear in yowindow app.

i.e. bostwick, united states, nebraska, nuckolls county, geonames id 5064462. says its in data base . but doesnt show in yowindows iPad.

also the page that shows weather on web is flash based which iPad does NOT do with safari (default browser).

Hi Doug,

5064462 Bostwick Nebraska can be found on the Windows Desktop and the Android.
There is a problem with it being on the Widget right now.
iPad may have the same problem.

I have sent a message to the author.

P.S. We know that the Widget is flash based. It does not display on Android Kit Kat and above. This is on a list of things to be done.

am i not correct in presuming that the added cities should start showing up in iPad yowindow weather app at some point ?

Now try to add Bostwick Nebraska to your iPad.

was able to get bostwick on iPad but now cant add
Dalton, United States, Ohio, Wayne County id 5151660
is there a delay between adding and posting so iPad can see it ? i even had to go to yr.no to get the page for dalton. as the web couldnt find it.
is it better to use forum or straight email for communicating ?

I just tried 5151660 Dalton, Ohio.
I was able to find it for the Widget.
I do not have an iPad so I can not tell you how much of a delay.

I would recommend that you clear your internet cache again.
Try to add Dalton, Ohio to your iPad.
Let us know if you were able to add it.

i dont know if I actually clear cache as iOS 8.3 deletes cookies, history and data not any of the 3 alone.
