Trying to figure out how to determine the predicted amount of snow. Is this possible and if so, how? Thanks for any help provided.

The amount of snow is something that is not provided by the METAR-stations (who deliver the data for current weather).
Maybe with a PWS (personal weather station) this data is possible.
