Data from PWS in YoWindow

Hi all,

Is is not possible, to collect and use data from PWS and use them fro the actual weather in yowindow.?

For example this webpage http://www.nordicweather.net/index.php?sivu=100&lang=en have a lot of data from the nordic countries. all PWS in a private weather stations network.

In this way the program could be more precise.

I have learned that some members / users live far away from METAR stations. recieve wrong incorrect data for actual weather.

Just a question... is it technically possible.?

Hi!

Technically it's feasable, I just need find the time to write the code.

Though there is also a legal issue.
The data must be free to use.

And it's better to have the data in XML or METAR format provided.

So if you know a current weather service that gives the weather data for free, please let me know.
