Is it possible to place the lowest row of icons vertically along the left side instead of horizontally?

Of course, these buttons are not an ideal solution.
But we could not find a better one.
We need to show off them prominently, while these buttons do not have a conflict with the other user interface elements and most landscapes.
The current position is the best we could find.
