Front/back facing walk animations will always be difficult to achieve with a 2D rig unless your characters are highly stylized. Sidefacing uses the same leg/foot shapes, making it super easy to animate, whereas anything else requires drawing out the arm and leg poses separately and sprite swapping in whatever 2d rigging software you're using.

Thanks for your comment. We are using Spine 2D. It allows us to smoothly change the orientation of the character.
