Live weather is stuck.

See "Weather expired" or "No weather"? Probably your weather station is not reliable. Let us know - we will help.

Live weather is stuck.

Post by TarkusLV »

On both my computers (one Windows 8.1, one Windows 10), YoWindow live has been stuck at 50F for the last few days, for Roseburg, OR. Updating seems to go well and doesn't produce an error, but it doesn't change anything either. The tray icon shows 50F until I open up YoWindow, then when I close it, it only shows the logo. When I hover over it, it shows 50F for the current temperature and question marks for the high/lows (they currently show 44/33 in the window), and gives no indication of how old the weather update is.

Hi,

I have moved this to Unreliable METAR stations.
I am researching your problem right now.

Hi Terry,

You have had storms this past week.
It looks like your METAR station has lost power and is probably being repaired.
Here are the METAR stations in your area.

KRBG - Roseburg, Oregon - not reporting now.
KSXT - Sexton Summit, Oregon
KOTH - North Bend, Oregon
KEUG - Eugene, Oregon

Until KRBG is repaired and back online, try one of the other 3.
Let us know if KRBG comes back online.
And let us know which METAR station works the best for you.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for moving my post and the fast response.

Unfortunately, none of those other locations are acceptable replacements for Roseburg. They're too far away and/or vastly different elevations. I guess I'll just have to remain patient. I'll let you know if and when it comes back.
