My PWS works with Windows Vista but there is no xml output :(

How can i ftp to my own site?
Can you combine more then 2 weatherstations or external sites?
example of an external site is ftp://ftp.knmi.nl/pub_weerberichten/tab ... _data.html

Make sure that the new INI variables you placed in the INI are not in an existing [section] within the file.

The variables must be exactly:

[YoWindow]
YoWindowReportFile=
YoWindowUseMetric=
YoWindowUseMETARWindData=

Please paste the settings that you have entered in to the INI file here.

When I uninstalled it with the REVO-uninstaller, it shows me 3.145 points in the registry :!:
Only Microsoft (Office 2010) is able to produce more entries!
I think this is not the way to programming a modern programm ...

That is very interesting... So can you tell me what this point rating is or do you not know?

You should have the following file created:

C:\HeavyWeather\Yotest.xml

Note: C:\HeavyWeather\ must already exist.

There are only two things that I can think of as to why this could be the case.

1) The C:\Heavyweather\ folder does not exist on the Vista machine. Double check the folder name and INI setting.
2) Vista is blocking WUHU from accessing that directory because of a permissions issue. Right click the WUHU.exe on the Vista machine, select properties, run as Administrator.

Other than that, I have no idea why this would not work on a Vista machine.

I am glad to hear that this mystery is solved.

It is possible to create all kinds of web pages using what are called Templates. Templates are things like .html files that you construct. Tags in the .html file can be replaced with weather data from your station. This is pretty typical of most weather station software like Weather Display and Virtual Weather Station.

There is a built-in FTP function to upload your templates to your web server.

The manual is online and available here:

For technical support questions, non-Yo Window related, please join this Yahoo Group and post your question there.

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/wuhu_software_group/

Both of these web links are available under Start/Programs/WUHU.

I'm sorry to use the wrong verb (I'm a "kraut"). With "points" I mean the entries in the registry and not a rating. But nevertheless a clear programmed uninstaller of your programm would not have such a number of not deinstalled entries in the registry after deinstallation!
I would like to try out your programm but you say no word why my PSW is not working with your software ... I'm using up to now WsWin without any problems!
I'm looking forward to your answer.

The program does not install anything in the registry. The only think thing may be stored in the registry related to the program would be the un-install information. The only thing that could possibly creating registry keys would be the 4 COM objects that are installed via regsvr32. I believe installshield handles both the registration as well as the de-registration of these COM objects. I will investigate when I have a chance by spying on all registry changes that are made during the install process. If you have such a log, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
