Is there somebody on this forum who can write a complete manual on how to connect weatherlink with yowindow?
Thanks in advance.

In case this is Davis Weather Link, I'm sorry we do not support it yet.
However you may install Weather Display software to connect your station to YoWindow as far as I know.

But we do have plans to support Davis Weather Link.
Just need time to make it happen.

Hello Ravenstein-weer,

Is the topic 'wsMaurik and WeatherLink software' not giving you sufficient information ?
How far did you get in running YoWindow on your website?

So what exactly did you do so far?

The better you provide us with what have done already the better we can help you with things that are still neccessary for you to succeed.

(German: Bitte lass Dir doch nicht alles aus der Nase ziehen, ok? ;) )

1. I made a yowindow.htx file which is converted by weatherlink into a yowindow.xml file every 5 minutes. This file goes to my ftp server. The exact content of the htx file is uncertain for me. This is my htx file:

<!--outsideTemp--><br>
<!--windSpeed--><br>
<!--windDir--><br>
<!--barometer--><br>
<!--BarTrend--><br>
<!--outsideHumidity--><br>
<!--windChill--><br>

2. I also added the crossdomain.xml file as described in the tutorial on the forum to my ftp server. This is the content of the crossdomain.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cros ... policy.dtd">
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="*.yowindow.com" secure="true"/>
</cross-domain-policy>

3. Further I have changed the software of my index page as described in the tutorial as follows:

<param name="flashvars"
value="location_id=gn:2748308&current_weather_url=http://www.ravenstein-weer.eu/yowindow.xml;
time_format=24&unit_system=metric&lang=nl&background=#FFFFFF&copyright_bar=false"
/>

And what is the output of this file? I don't think that it produces something like this: http://yowindow.com/doc/yowindow_pws_format.xml

I'm sorry to say that my yowindow.xml file has no content. In other instances of transfer of my weather data via internet I put an htx file in weatherlink and get an htm file with content. In this case the content consists of figures, sometimes also with language. Why this happens I don't know.
The internet address as submitted by you also has no content on my computer.
