YoWindow translation into Bulgarian

Post by rummar »

Helo!
A week ago I found this wonderful software, but to my regret I found that translation of the Bulgarian program is terrible, even funny in some places.
I decided to make a new translation, fully compatible with the Bulgarian language and vocabulary.
Here you are:

P.S 22.02.2011 12:00 link updated, some corrections are maden

Could you supply a bit of context for the tag 506 "JAG", in Bulgarian it is local slang for "get drunk", so it is difficult to translate accurately, without knowing what it is meant to mean,

Hi Keith,

Where did you find tag 506?
Can you give us the English description?

Thanks,
Fred

He means tag 506 in the pootle-system (http://yowindow.com/pootle), the new system of translating YoWindow.
The tag can be found in "Terminology" / essential.po
Even in German someone translated "Jag" to what Keith described (german: "Besäufnis") which is definitely wrong.

But i don't know the correct translation either.

An online dictionary gives me (beside the "drunken"-expression) some other possibilities, but i don't know if the correct one is listed or not:
YoWindow - Pootle - jag.jpg

Bulgarian Website translation now 100% complete, although it would be great if a Bulgarian speaker could spot the mistakes I'm bound to have made, as I'm an ex-pat Brit just learning the language myself.

Cheers
