Re: Temperature in System Tray is not accurate
Hello, I just found this thread. I have spent quite a lot of time trying to solve this, as I LOVE Yowindow and I've been a registered user for a long time, but it really bums me out having a useless tray icon. Yesterday I installed version 4, and thought, maybe this time... To help it happen, I even...

Re: b161 - Temperature not updating in Task Bar
Hi, I have basically the same configuration as tntnb (Windows 7, Flash 12.0.0.77) and my tray icon doesn't update either. This has been happening for months now. I don't think it's a W7 problem, as YoWindow worked fine for a long time. I followed the instructions given in some older update thread (r...

Re: b160
Hello, Is there any news on this problem? Auto update doesn't work for me either, and it's quite frustrating. I have to open the window every time for the data to refresh. My location is Madrid, Spain, I'm running Windows 7 professional, Flash 12.0.0.44 (I think the problem started with 11.9). I als...

I found YoWindow in Gizmo's Freeware a long time ago.
Thanks!

Re: What to do when the weather observed is wrong
Hi, Beverly.
I'm glad it worked.
Actually I checked Norristown in my YW a while ago and it was nice and freezing white, and judging from the forecast, it will stay like that for several days. Congratulations! (I guess...)
Cheers,
Luis

Re: What to do when the weather observed is wrong
Hi, beve7. I live in Norristown, PA (USA) and it has been snowing since 12 pm, but the weather says cloudy and so does the screensaver. I'm no expert, but the reason might be the METAR station selected by default for Norristown, PA is not the best one. You can look for a better one here: http://en.a...

Re: Wrong season for Madrid
Hi, Par. Don't worry, it's not that important. Are you sure there are no snow on the ground through the whole year in Madrid usually? In Madrid it has snowed an average of 5 times a year in the last 38 years, but half of those times the snow doesn't settle, and when it does, very seldom lasts more t...

Re: Wrong season for Madrid
Hi,
As instructed by Par in the "wrong weather" thread (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2246&start=10), this is my season map suggestion for Madrid:
03.01:spring/05.31:summer/09.16:autumn/11.01:naked
Thanks,
Luis
